One person has died after a collision between a truck and a car at Melbourne Airport

One person has died after a collision involving a truck and a car at Melbourne Airport this afternoon.

Emergency services were called to the crash at the intersection of Terminal Drive and Centre Road about 2:40pm today.

The driver of the car, who is yet to be formally identified, died at the scene and the female passenger of the car has life-threatening injuries and has been taken to hospital.
