Melbourne Airport chaos as dozens of flights cancelled due to thick layer of fog

A thick layer of fog blanketing Melbourne on Tuesday morning is causing chaos for airline travellers with 29 flights cancelled so far.

The disrupted services were arriving and departing flights and more cancellations are likely to occur.

The cancellations have occurred from all three of the major airlines.
