Hundreds of diners have been evacuated from a restaurant at Docklands, after the pier started sinking.
Inspectors have been keeping a close eye on Central Pier, but it wasn’t until 7pm last night when it was packed full of patrons that an emergency evacuation order was given.
People told they had 15-mins to finish their meals and get out – wire fencing is now put around the site and security guards in place.
