Armed with a torch and golf clubs, home intruders have stormed into a young family’s Melbourne home overnight. Exclusive video obtained by 9NEWS of the offenders shows them swarm all corners of the Sunshine North property about 2.25am. Two bandits can be seen entering the main bedroom, where a sleeping couple wake to their worst nightmare. Lee*, 29, negotiates with the burglars as his 27-year-old girlfriend Ruby* and her young children, aged three and four, watch on in horror.
