Thursday's sunny skies were a distant memory on Friday as preparations for the grand final parade were met with grey, cloudy conditions, a forecast top of 15 degrees and a high chance of showers with possible hail in the afternoon and evening. Temperatures will only drop for the clash between Collingwood and West Coast with Saturday forecast to reach 14 degrees in the city with cloud cover and showers continuing. If you're in the southeast suburbs you can also expect hail and thunder. But by the first bounce it will be cold, though not too wet."As the day goes on the showers will become more isolated so by the time people are getting going to the footy there's a good chance it'll be back to fine conditions," Bureau of Meteorology senior forecaster Rod Dickson said.
